So Kelly Rowlands new show aptly entitled Fashion Show premiered on Bravo TV last night. I almost felt like the whole season will be awkward with Kelly acting as a fashion expert. Yes she is one of the baddest chicks in the game, but who died and made her a fashion authority? On the show she cited that she has sat front row at every runway for almost eight yearsI guess in her head that means shes qualified. The only input she really had during the show was the few times she would say "I wouldn't wear that." Sigh...
X
The contestants are pretty diverse..the bohemian, the gay guys, the weird eccentric dude so maybe the show will get better with time.

You can catch The Fashion Show Thursday Nights on Bravo. Check your local listings.

And here is a random clip from a recent interview with MTV Europe when the reporter asks Kelly if she knows Beyonce personally. WTF.

Astral travel or astral projection is a natural process. It is the separation of the real you (your spirit body) from your actual physical body, which is what you use whilst on this earth. Astral travel is as natural as breathing. It is part of who you are, it is your birthright; every living creature astral travels. How quickly can you do it consciously depends on you; and you alone. The majority of untrained people fall asleep during the process; which is very annoying indeed, as you must leave the body before it goes to sleep to remember your travels!
Usually because of our religious teachings or upbringing we learn very little about astral travel. Therefore many people go through life not knowing anything about it. Many think their actual physical body is the one and only real you; It is not! It's just a shell to enable your spiritual body to be on this planet.
Every night we nearly all unconsciously astral travel but there are those who cannot; and by their own fault. To understand why these certain people cannot Astral Project we must discuss a few things in more detail. People who are badly constipated, or obese will find it extremely hard to Astral Travel but those obsessed with carnal desires will find it totally impossible. They cannot because of two reasons; firstly being badly constipated or obese causes the spiritual body to be locked within the physical body, which means it cannot get released at night whilst the physical is sleeping; With this I do not joke - it is very true. Those obsessed with carnal desires will also not achieve anything as the spiritual path is not carnal. Because these people who are infatuated with carnal desires have only one thought on their minds and that make it near on impossible to focus on anything else.
So getting back on track; being able to astral travel is one thing, being able to consciously astral travel is another; which is what you want to achieve and as I have previous said ` The majority of untrained people fall asleep during the process; which is very annoying indeed, as you must leave the physical body before it goes to sleep to remember your travels.' Conscious astral travel is our goal and it can be achieved, but you need to learn to visualise the process. Again we must digress here as many confuse visualisation with imagination. You have to go in for visualization, and visualization is not imagination. Imagination is something which can be indulged in on the imaginary basis only. No amount of imagination, for instance, would enable you to jump over a thirty-story building. You might be able to do it in your imagination and then you would be something like Superman; wouldn't you? But such a jump over a thirty-story building is beyond the laws of physical nature, so it is imagination only, and many people waste time imagining that which is completely impossible. Visualization, on the contrary, is something which is entirely possible because it is completely in keeping with normal physical laws.
So the secret - for want of a word - is to visualise the whole process, that is, you're lying in or on your bed at night and visualise, before you fall off to sleep, that your spiritual body is looking down from above. Many at this point will not see their actual physical because they are not expecting to see it and the first time you do, you may jump right back into your physical which means you will have to try again another night. Seeing our own body can be a shock for many as it's not like looking into a mirror. Recall when your voice was recorded and played back to you? You would have bet vast amounts of money that it wasn't you, and so it is with the physical when you get to see it.
Another obstacle is being able to visualise. In today's world many find visualisation very hard as much of your lives are filled with visual images, either TV, films and such like where they provide all the visual and therefore the requirement or ability to visualise anything is completely removed. So what can we do to assist this?
A simple process is to get your partner or friend to take a photo of you when you are in or on your bed. They must take the photo from above so it simulates what you would be seeing from near the ceiling as that's where your spiritual body will be when it leaves the physical. It's no good you taking the picture as you have to be in it. Once you can consciously astral travel you can bypass this process of floating above the physical near to the ceiling, but for now let's assume you are starting out and therefore you WILL float above the physical and the height varies from person to person, but nevertheless it's above the physical.
Now you don't want to use a flash or take the photo in full daylight. Draw the curtains so that the room is slightly dimmed to a form of neutral lighting because this is how you will see everything whilst astral travelling. Digressing here again, in the astral you can see clearly even in the darkest of rooms as you are not seeing with physical eyes, but spiritual eyes. Getting back, you must be dressed or naked as you normally go to bed because everything must be as exact to aid visualisation. Now before you tuck yourself in, get the picture and focus on this image, then tuck yourself in and visualise that photo image before falling off to sleep, actually form strong thoughts that you are doing it and sooner or later you will do it. One night you will actually be above the physical looking down. It's not going to happen over night, it can take days, weeks or even years to achieve as it's all down to you; and you alone because we create our own stumbling blocks with doubt and fear.
When starting out you may experience a sensation of falling or swaying; that is perfectly normal. That is your true self trying to leave the physical. Sometimes when going to sleep you feel a jerk which awakens you, well that was your two bodies parting company too quickly. Again this jerk may cause you to try again on another night until you have mastered the process. Recall then you had you first bike, you probably fell off it with fright the very first time and it was many months until you could ride it without stabilising wheels and in full confidence, such is learning to astral travel, you will make small mistakes at first.
Let us assume that you have achieved this and are now looking down upon the sleeping physical. When you have finally got out of the physical, rest awhile, just keep still, you don't need to feel panic nor triumph, just rest peaceably for a few moments. Then - if you think you can stand the shock - and depending on what sort of a body you've got; gaze down on the thing you've just left. It looks all lopsided, it looks lumpy and heavy, and it looks a real untidy mess. Well, aren't you glad to get away from it for the time being? You will see the silver cord which connects both the spiritual and physical bodies. Once you are out of the physical it doesn't matter that it's gone to sleep. Slowly you will realise that your spiritual body is descending feet first so that you are now at the end of the bed; this is normal for beginners, advanced people only need think of where they wish to be and will project their spiritual body to that location without this process, but you are just starting out and therefore will go through all this.
If you get over excited or try and rush things at this point you can force the spiritual back into the physical, which if it does happen you won't achieve much again that night and will have to try again another night. Again let's assume you haven't got over excited, or panicked having seeing your actually physical body lying prone in or upon the bed, and you are now standing at the end of the bed. So what do you do now? For the very first time it's advisable to just browse your bedroom to get used to moving about. You are lighted than anything and move by though alone, all you need to is to think or visualise yourself moving and you will move. Speed varies to your thoughts and you can move much faster than the speed of light. Slowly move around the room looking at the places you don't normally see, like above the wardrobe and such like places, see all the dust that has settled and try and touch it. You will discover that your hand or finger will just pass thought much like a ghost and once you are comfortable with that you can try other rooms about the house. Get used to moving about and through walls and doors, you may feel a slight tingle sensation - a bit like a very mild pins and needles sensation - when going through some solid objects as that's normal and will soon pass once you are more adept at travelling this way. There is not need to rush it as there is no fast-track process to this.
I must point out at this point that NOTHING can harm you but fear alone. Fear is the mind killer because it stalls our advancement; and what is fear? Fear is just the unknown, something which we don't understand yet as you don't fear that which you understand; or do you? So remember that NOTHING can actually hurt you. Now we must assume again that you have accomplished all this and feel secure about moving about and through objects and that your fear is well under control. Now it's time to venture outside and visit local places before setting out to far off places. The scope of possible travel is vast as you can go and see anywhere on this planet and throughout the universe because during Astral Travel, distance is no object.
A word of warning: if you think it would be great to see others in their birthday suit; think again! Only those with pure intentions can see everything, but those with idle curiosity or alternative motives cannot, it's a universal law. You may be able to break physical laws whilst on this little planet, but you cannot break universal laws regardless of who you are!
So how do you know if you are astral travelling or just dreaming? As many people do dream that they are astral travelling and don't know it. Simple; remember that the silver cord is ALWAYS visible, colours are more VI
ANT and you can see clearly even in the very DARKEST of rooms; as if there was indirect sunlight entering that room and in fact, when you are in the REAL astral world you WILL see more colours that you can perceive within the physical.
Remember there is NOTHING that can harm you whilst within the astral plane; the silver cord CANNOT be broken - only death itself can do that - and you CANNOT be possessed whilst astral travelling. Your only worry is fear itself. Remember never to panic even if you do get a few swaying sensations trying because you CANNOT BE HURT and you can ALWAYS get back into the physical once out.
Some people have mentioned that when astral travelling; or having an out of body experience they find themselves moving though a tunnel with a bright light at the far end. This is most excellent news as that is the way home; back to the real astral world. If you ever get the chance to do this it's strongly advisable to spend some time in the astral home - remember everything you see and do - then when your time on Earth is done, you will know the way home without any delays. Within the astral plane you move by thought alone, which is much, much faster than the speed of light; and all communications are by telepathy. Don't worry about not being able to know telepathy, when in the astral plane you can automatically do it. You WILL be greeted upon arriving in the real world and you WILL see loved ones only. Try it and you will see I am right.
In the astral there are many planes of existence; some you may visit and others you cannot because you are not spiritually evolved enough, these higher planes of existence are just bright lights and if you venture towards one you will discover you are automatically blocked. On the lower planes of existence you will see strange beings, perhaps some that may look demonic like; not that they actually are, your false teaching have cause that belief. Once in the astral plane you can perceive and understand many things which are not possible whilst stuck in the physical.
There is no secret mystery in astral travelling; it just needs confidence. It just needs the firm knowledge that you are going to do astral travel while you are fully awake. And the best way to start about it is not to imagine that you are out of the body, but to visualise that you are out of your body, visualise yourself leaving your physical body, visualise yourself gradually inching out and floating inches above the recumbent physical body. Actually visualise yourself doing it, actually form the strong thoughts that you are doing it, and sooner or later you will do it. You will find, with the greatest amazement that you are floating there looking down upon a padded, whitish-green or what ever coloured fleshy body you have. Probably it will have its mouth open; probably it will be snoring away because when you are out of the physical it doesn't matter at all if your body goes to sleep, because if you get out while the body is awake, you will remember the whole experience.
So finally, how to get back into the physical? This is achieved by either visualising yourself going back or it will happen naturally when morning comes. During astral travelling you may feel a constant tug along the silver cord, this is the physical body warning the spiritual body that something is about to happen where the physical resides, and either its morning or someone is trying to awake you.
If you get a headache when you get back into the physical that is due to a misalignment between the two bodies because you got back in too quickly, and can be easily resolved by going back to sleep for a few minutes, so that the two bodies can part and synchronise correctly. Your spiritual body oscillates at much a higher frequency than the physical does and to get back in they must be in sync; most of the time this process is automatic.
Now the bit which is going to cause much fuss and many will disagree but is very true, some people have dreams. Now frequently the dreams are rationalizations of what actually happened. The person is a doubter to start with and just would not believe the possibility of astral travel, and so as a solution to what would be a difficult problem the subconscious of the doubter cooks up a fantastic image or dream which truly is stranger than anything that could happen in real life.
Dreams, then, are either the rationalization of an astral experience or - and this is the most popular - the mindless wandering thoughts of a physical body of which the soul or astral form is far, far away - so far that no check is being kept on the mental processes of the sleeping form. I hope this helps and you enjoy the many delights of astral travelling.

Michelle Rodriguez will never be a bride, let us tell you why. She was standing up in her close friend and manager's wedding, a four day occurrence in the Dominican Republic. Causing a ruckus the entire time, let's go over the disturbances she caused. During the welcome dinner she pushed clothed guests into a pool. She broke up the bachelorette party screaming the stripper was over weight and had a little cock. Luckily at the wedding she looked and acted like an angel. Shortly after, she morphed back to the savage woman and was spotted in tight jeans and a tank top dancing til early morning with men and women alike. Lindsay Lohan took in Mel Brown's Peep Show in Las Vegas Saturday night, and let with a man.
The Mirror reports that "Lindsay had a brilliant time watching Peep Show and was cheering and clapping throughout. Clearly blown away with Mel's hot body and provocative dancing, Lilo was definitely in the mood for lovin'."
Camped in Mel's VIP area poolside at the exclusive Planet Hollywood-staged afterparty, and slurping on strawberry-flavored baby formula (yes, really) Lindsay got to work.
The Mirror's spy said, "She focused her attentions on a good-looking young guy. He was best friends with E! Entertainment presenter Sal Masekela and the pair were quickly introduced. After swapping numbers, they were texting throughout - from opposite sides of the swimming pool."
They must have been pressing the right buttons though - because they left together at midnight. "They went on to a comedy club before returning to Lindsay's penthouse suite. It had a hot tub and a huge marble cocktail bar - Lindsay was joking about making the most of all the facilities."
It's just like riding a bike isn't it Lindsay?

Yesterday morning I wrote about the recent report of the executions of six gay men in Iraq. Last night, in San Francisco, in the Castro, a handful of people held a protest in an attempt to call attention to the killings.
Gay San Francisco supervisor Bevan Dufty had hoped Americas intervention in Iraq would bring more Democratic principles to that country. Given the investment in American lives and billions of dollars that have been spent, you would like to think that there isnt just absolute anarchy and people being executed for their sexual orientation.
Keep reading and watch video of the news channels report on the Castro protest, after the jump.

chat and we have been communicating everyday on sms and chat. we have exchanged photos....I want to meet him but he tells me to wait till I am 18...(two months to go) and I cant wait to meet him.
I just wanted to know if you know other guys who feel like me. Do you know other people in intergenerational relationships?..I was wondering if its normal..I love him...Please advise.
PT
I did respond and I told him I will post the email here to get my readers' opinions. What I told him though was that it is normal. All gay people have age preferences-I would think even straight people do. I also told him it is not wise to get committed to the word love since he hardly knows this man. Further, at 18, he is in the process of discovering himself and it is only in his 20s that he will really know what he likes.
23 and 55 sounds better than 17/50 although it is still intergenerational.
There are a few things to consider..
First is developmental. There are a whole series of events that happen in the transition from the teen years to young adulthood. The changes you will undergo as a person in the next ten years, even in the next 1-5, will be more radical than the changes your friend will experience. His personality, world view, expectations, self-understanding at age 50 are probably more settled than yours are at 17 almost 18 - it is not an uncommon thing for people in your age range to experience big shifts in all of the above. For most people the 20s are still a time of self-discovery.
Second, as a teen your hormones probably talk to you a lot louder than his do to him at 50. I remember being in my mid-20s before I fully understood exactly what my sex drive was driving me to do, the intensity of the feelings I was having. There is a reason it is called a sex "drive" and not a sex "oh-I-suppose-so." The implications are, in my opinion, that as you mature your perception of what you are feeling is very likely to shift as well.
I'm not trying to discount your love for him, only to say that you may understand yourself and your feelings differently over the next couple of years.
I think there is in this culture a misunderstanding about finding "the one." I personally believe there is any number of people with whom you can establish a satisfying relationship, and that you will meet them wherever you happen to live. The relationships that last and stick, in my experience, are the ones that happen when you are truly ready for them to happen (and not just hormonally driven for them to happen). It's the difference between feeling desperate for a relationship and the relationship developing as part of your own self-actualization (look up Abraham Maslow - that's a term he coined to describe the maturation process you are going to undergo in the next few years).
Third, my biggest concerns would be about how well this 50-year-old man understands all of this and whether he genuinely cares for you or if he's just hot for a fresh young body. I hate to be that crass about it, but those guys ARE out there, and that's why laws about age of consent are in place.
Finally, regarding the age difference itself: it also represents a cultural difference. My partner is thirteen years younger than I. It's enough of a time span for us to notice certain attitudinal differences although I dont know if I can term my relationship intergenerational When my boyfriend was 22, the age difference was more apparent..now almost 6 years later, it does not and the fact that we have spent those many years together helps I guess. As long as a couple have more in common than just sexuality, I guess there is a foundation for a good relationship.

Rafidan The Political Committee Baghdad The Republic of Iraq
Statement in Response to President Obamas Remarks made on the 27th or February 2009 regarding the proclaimed ending to the occupation of The Republic of Iraq.
Good Evening,
In Respect to the remarks of President Barak Hussain Obama, The president of the United States of America. The Political Committee of a number of factions in the Iraqi Resistance, mainly the factions present in our front, respond with our point of view on the contents of his speech.
Over the last four months, as the battle of our people continues to free Iraq of all foreign occupation. We have been studying the movements on the ground as well as analyzing the intelligence in order to assess the next strategy that the US administration will take under the leadership of the new presidency.
We had formulated our own plan of action based on the above mentioned, but have chosen to give the new president enough time to gather his thoughts and have a suitable amount of reports briefings that would give him also a good picture of the daily developments on the ground.
President Obama, After listening to your speech on the 27th of February 2009, in which you declared your general and public understanding of the ongoing war against our people, and gave your military and the honorable people of the United States brief points on your intentions in our country, we felt the spirit of the speech that your predecessor President JFK gave on the 20th of January 1961, on his inaugural address. In this speech, he offered a turbulent world, a way out of tensions and paid with his own blood for challenging the interests of those in your consecutive governments who hold the true keys to power. Those who would do anything to preserve their interests, wealth, power to create wars conflict.
We mention this with great honesty in hope to spread awareness and remembrance that a new Caesar may be betrayed, by his own, if he chooses to follow a different path. We do believe, on the other hand, that the spirit of the speech was well chosen.
We have listened well to your economic plans for your country released before this speech as well, and as ambitious as it may seem, we believe that if intentions are genuine within your congress, a considerable number of what you seek will eventually be fulfilled, but in case of failure, the republicans will be looking for a scapegoat to relate all their failures to. In this case it would be your administration. This will guarantee them a fast comeback.
You have inherited a nation at war, a failed economy, and a desperate people who are bearing the full brunt of an economic crisis that was not of their making. As well as thousands of young men dead and handicapped.
We have inherited a foreign occupation, endless counts of innocent dead, injured, and handicapped, millions of refugees, in essence, Mr. President, the complete and planned disintegration of our nation and people.
We believe that the funds wasted in this war would have been more useful if it were spent on research to develop alternative energy, which no doubt would have reduced energy conflicts, cures for cancer, agricultural solutions to prevent worldwide poverty, advancements to develop Africa, where people still die of starvation and intentional neglect. Endless causes, all in need of immediate attention.
By the will of God almighty, the resilience of our men, and the patience of our humble people, we have so far managed to halt and render useless all imperialist agendas set for Iraq and the region in whole. Simply by choosing to resist occupation, a right guaranteed by God first and then by international conventions to all men. A right your countrys policies continue to disrespect and dishonor, in clear example to state sponsored Terrorism.
You have spoken to our people in part of your speech, and we thank you for these words, you have displayed a far better understanding our nation, than your predecessor, who preferred to dive deep into the oceans of illiteracy and ignorance. Despite the fact that you did not mention the Iraqi resistance in your speech, and chose to label us as terrorists along with those who arrived with your troops, we will set that aside for now, and mention a few facts for the record.
1- The people of Iraq whom you addressed, in all their sects colors and religions, refuse your occupation, and those who accept it, are those who benefit from it.
2- The Iraqis you addressed, as we truly hope, are not the ones who bathe in the riches of treason, behind your walls of the green zone, nor are they the likes of Ahmed Al Chalabi, whom your previous government conspired with and his likes from the dark alleys of 5 star hotels in the US and Europe prior to your occupation.
3- The Iraqi people you talked to, are those who never invited your occupation, and were trying their best to survive on what was possible, under the criminal sanctions that went on for 13 years only to be crowned with a foreign occupation, unmatched in criminal acts, in todays modern world.
President Obama, The suffering, that our people had to go through is beyond comprehension. And the endless crimes of your troops as well as that of neighboring countries, cannot simply be undone or dismissed, nor can they be brushed under the carpet. Your troops still occupy the land and kill the innocent, that is why we can only address you as the president of an occupying nation.
The Iraqi People are disappointed in your plan. They expect your troops to leave our country in full and not in part. Our people, seek a complete end of occupation and not the fulfillment of a strategic treaty that was rushed against the will of our people, in the last few days of your predecessor.
Our people, as well as the majority of people around the world, and in your country, want to see the last president be presented to an international war crime tribunal for all the crimes he has committed in the name of your country, only to benefit those who brought him to power in the first place.
We have never invited your occupation, nor have we asked your country to steal our countrys resources to benefit your corporations and to those neighboring states which historically fall under your influence. We have never asked you for your precious blood or ours, to us, all blood is precious even that of the your soldiers sent by your government to die not knowing what they were truly fighting for. This has to be addressed to the man who started this war, and is hiding now in Texas, while you try to undo his damage.
We the Iraqi People and their resistance demand the following:
1- The fulfillment of all the conditions presented to your government through the mediators you
Sent in 2006.
2- The hand over of all the traitors Collaborators in the green zone to the Iraqi people where
They will be dealt with as any nation would do with in cases of high treason.
3- The full just compensation for our people for the losses they have suffered.
4- The halting of all compensations paid to those who fall under your umbrella in the region from the resources of our people.
5- The return of all land stolen from our country.
6- The departure of all foreign corporations mainly in the sectors of energy, communication, infrastructure rebuilding, specifically those linked to Neocon interests. Our people are more than qualified to rebuild and operate our institutions.
7- The hand over of all mercenaries accused of killing innocent civilians mainly security contractors in Black Water and their CEO to be tried for murder.
8- All foreign advisors are to leave Iraq with your troops.
9- The dismantling of all militias equipped by your country and Iran together to shift the nature of battle towards the sectarian nature in order to allow your troops to concentrate on the major resistance activities in the central region of Iraq.
10- The halting of all support to the sectarian government elected in the orchestrated elections in the green zone.
11- The reduction of the influence of your Persian allies in Iraq which your previous government worked with in close conjunction and who continue to fund Al Qaeda on behalf of your intelligence agencys behalf.
12- The return to the old constitution of a unified Iraq. And the Upholding of new elections
Within 6 months of the resistance taking power of the nation, this will be supervised,
By must be conducted in the presence of a number of credible international monitors. Not the ones
Sponsored by the CIA.
13- Cities and provinces are to be handed over one by one starting with the four main cities and airports of Baghdad, Basra, then Mosul and Kirkuk in the same order. The rest will fall immediately in our hands. The borders will have other arrangements.
The list goes on, but the intention is to give you an idea of what we pledged our people to achieve. In return for our peoples demands, we will cease to attack all occupation forces withdrawing to the south and beyond the border post of Safwan.
Without these straightforward moves on your part, we regret to inform you that the resistance of the people of Iraq will continue until that last boot of US/British/Persian occupation is thrown across the borders of our country.
If you choose change as you claim, then you must have reached the conclusion that to continue dealing with the same people your predecessor appointed to fulfill his dirty work, will fail to deliver positive results for both our people. It is not the thieves of the green zone who brought the defeat of your military.
You must search further for the honest Iraqis and from the ranks of our people and not those of your collaborators to achieve a just solution. You can also recognize the right for the Iraqi people to resist and publicly ask for our advice and representation. The Iraqi people intend to be masters of their own house as they always have, and by following the plan you have declared, you have not yet fully understood Iraq well.
There are those who will claim, that a quick withdrawal from Iraq will cause civil war, and that is a possibility, but we would also like to clarify that the forces of the puppet government which has been equipped to defeat the resistance will not stand ground, nor will they block our efforts to liberate our cities one by one if we had to, and all the efforts of your collaborators to move to the north and south of the country and create their own federal states have been studied well for their weaknesses and will be crushed within a short period. This is a more realistic scenario. True there will be still the Persian occupation which will offer its militias support, but we know that the US cannot leave the oil rich south to be occupied by Iran, and they would rather see it fall in our hands instead. As it would be giving too much to a close yet not so trust worthy ally, and would deprive your military necessary funds that would support long-term military presence necessary in Iraq and throughout the region. Funds that some in your government think they can still rely on. Funds that your economy can no longer bear in the midst of the turmoil in the globalized economy of your nation, to control the world.
The Iraqi resistance understands well that the US could not continue to sell oil at a high price
of 120 USD/Barrel to cover the costs of its war, as this strengthens old adversaries. And it would be only a matter of time before this tactic backfires on the US foreign policy. But it also understands that the US cannot fund foreign occupation any more without depending on local resources and revenues to cover the expenses. This is the true cause of the change of as you named it President Obama.
With oil prices falling to their true realistic market values, the winter ending in the consuming economies, the oil prices should fall to 30 USD plus mark, which is also effecting the local economies of your allies in the region, as anything below 55 USD per barrel, is already becoming a burden on these
economies, which in turn can no longer assist to their full potential in funding and supporting the costs of US aggression in the Region.
The Declining of oil revenues, which we truly thank you for mentioning in your speech, will make it more difficult to fund your militarys operations in Iraq, and that is why the numbers of your troops is to be reduced. To match the income predicted from the oil projects sponsored by your corporations in the south and the oil theft operations run by your agent, Hamid Jaffar in the north of Iraq in collaboration with NGO oil of Norway, is what your strategists think is possible.
Yes President Obama, we do agree with you, that the US needs a smarter, more sustainable comprehensive approach, but rest assured, that what your predecessor has failed to achieve with all the military might at his disposal, we will make sure that you will fail to achieve the same goals through the soft hand of the Democratic party.
In fact, it is more logical and practical to follow the alternative energy programs that you have set wisely, to ensure the non reliance of your economy on oil as well as the utilization of advancements and added fruits of R D to employ the unemployed, and support a new and young market for the shift in energy dependence, and in turn end the monopolization of energy, practiced by the corporations that control it and control world political and social stability, than to merely dream of expecting the Iraqi People to hand you over their resources.
We on the other hand intend to nationalize and use our resources to build an alternative energy base our selves and offer our people a life of prosperity, stability, as well as supporting the energy transition of other nations that are oil dependant, a task we truly believe is noble and worthwhile.
The Iraqi Resistance will not accept any short term or long term energy contracts with the US until we ensure that the rights of our people are properly addressed. And within the parameters of relations based on mutual respect first and mutual interests second.
President Obama, It is time that people in Washington understand that there are no shared interest between an occupying tyrant and an oppressed victim of occupation.
Your government would have stayed forever in Iraq if the traitors who conspired with your consecutive administrations had their way in starving the Iraqi people into submission and force them to welcome your occupying troops with flowers as Chalabi promised you. But after three wars and over a decade of sanctions, there were enough honest men to defeat the worlds most powerful army play a major role in destroying the most imperialistic Globalized economy ever developed by expansionary capitalism.
These are the type of people you are speaking to Mr. Obama. And if you were not presented with this reality throughout the briefings that occurred, and understood the true scale of the economic disaster with all the social and geopolitical implications of your military defeat in Iraq, then please allow us to mention a few of the major achievements that the Iraqi Resistance have promised its people and the free people of the world and has delivered:
1- We promised to pin down your troops in Iraq and drain your economy until you admit defeat and withdraw your troops. And this we fulfilled.
2- We promised to halt the US plan for Middle East in full, and prevent the loss of other innocent lives in other neighboring countries, and that we fulfilled.
3- We embraced the war and continue the fight on behalf of all the oppressed world, which not only stood still and watched the massacre of our people and the illegal occupation of our nation, but many of its leaders participated and continue in harming our people inside and outside Iraq and assist in the theft of our resources. This, apart from the support of honest people all around the world,
4- including citizens of your country, who marched day and night to support the cause of Iraqs right to resist, marches that defied the weather, and weathered criminal defiance and ignorance of world politicians. Marches that we will ever be indebt to, and in gratitude in appreciation for. May god bless those people wherever they are. And this we fulfilled and continue to do so.
5- We have understood the nature of international balances of power and most importantly predicted the primitive mind of the occupation and played a major role in forcing the US to increase oil prices in clear desperation for cash. And use that to allow other powers to recover. And the numbers never lied, this we also fulfilled.
6- The Iraqi People wrote a new chapter in Urban warfare, and invented the art of remote combat, and in turn gave the world lessons and set a new standard in how to defeat the worlds most powerful army. In this, the most dangerous achievement that threatens US global influence is that all the oppressed people who suffer from negative US influence, can use this experience to free themselves as well. This also has been delivered.
7- The Resistance has already drafted its 2, 5 and 10 year plan to engage Iraq in rebuilding programs that will set a new standard for development in the Region and restore Iraq to its rightfully earned place in world politics and positive human development. This while maintaining Iraqs isolation from harmful neighboring countries at the same time, these plans was prepared and drafted in the early months of 2007 and are ready to implement once we see the end of your occupation.
8- The resistance created a new battle field and utilized every tool available to break free of the corporate media and tell, inform, and educate the world of the true nature of the struggle, and present every curious man and woman daily reports and videos of your militarys defeat and in every language possible. People from all over the world, chose out of their own free will and time, people of different religions and backgrounds chose to be soldiers of the cyber wars and translated all what we had to tell, asking nothing in return but the truth. The true casualties of your war are yet to be declared. (We refer to the green card soldiers)
9- The resistance has sparked not only the collapse of the US economy, but also caused the domino effect and the destruction of your fine tuned and delicate Globalized economy, and forced the return to national economic protection, and the rights of local and regional economies to grow and ensure a decent life and practice their right to develop as well. All your efforts to restore the globalized economy will deliver nothing of value, and puppet governments that maintain your oversight of world resources will eventually fall, one after the other, as their faults will be more evident to their average citizens, and that is why you are now receiving daily reports, from the CIA about the world economy.
ALL THE ABOVE, AND YOU STILL CHOOSE TO IGNORE THE RESISTANCE OF THE IRAQI PEOPLE AND THE RESISTANCE OF THE GLOBAL ALLIANCE OF THE FREE, WHICH WE INTENT TO PROPOSE TO THE WORLD AS THE NEXT STAGE OF FREEING THE PLANET FROM YOUR DOMINENCE WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT.
ALL THIS SAID, AND THE GLOBAL MEDIA WHICH YOU STILL MAINTAIN CONTROL OVER STILL LABELS FREE PEOPLE AS TERRORISTS AND EQUALS THE RESISTANCE OF OCCUPATION WITH CRIMINAL ACTS OF STRIKING CIVILIANS IN BUILDING AND TERRORISING THE LIVES OF THE INNOCENT.
TRULY IRONIC !! Nevertheless represents the true state of shock you policy makers have reached. But all can be reversed if you truly believe in Change Mr. President.
The resistance along with the votes of the peace loving people in your country and choice of the world
Who brought you to power, are more than capable to pull you down and defeat your new strategy, if you choose to lie to them and follow the plans of your predecessor.
You must understand that the time when your foreign policy bullied and bribed people into submission is over and for a considerable time. And your politicians and strategists have to understand that to be accepted as a superpower you must first learn to speak to the world with modesty and respect that others in this planet, also have the right to provide for their families a decent life, the right to food and water, the right to education and knowledge, the right to industry and employment, and free from your corporate despotism.
We in the Iraqi resistance, renew our pledge to our people and to our brothers and sisters in the global family, to continue the fight and struggle to free Iraq and give our allies the chance to follow suite.
While you were preparing your new strategy in leaving the streets and highways of Iraq to your collaborators, and hiding your troops behind the walls of the castles and green zones you have prepared for your minimized long term presence, we have been preparing to address your new tactics and will deal with them in the proper manner.
Remember, that hiding behind and holding castles is no longer sustainable in modern warfare!
Your finest fighting force as you name it, is up against the most witty, resilient innovative self-propelled resistance honorable humanity has ever presented. Rest assured that we are not impressed with your plan and will follow your movements on the ground and cross examine them to your declared intentions and daily economic reports. There is no such thing as friendly occupation, and we advise you to revise your plans to vacate Iraq at a time suitable for our people and not suitable for your agents in the green zone.
And if you need to talk to honest Iraqis, then you know very well, where to find them. John F Kennedy also said Let us never negotiate out of fear, but never fear to negotiate
You choose to negotiate with all the parties that worked for your predecessor and have caused all this harm, yet you choose to ignore the only true party that can offer you a decent outcome.
Good Luck President Obama!

Welcome to www.concealed-carry-holsters.net and we are glad that you stopped by.
Like the title says, this site about concealed carry holsters, and how to choose the best one for your needs. When you start shopping for a concealed carry holster, you are very quickly going to find that there are thousands and thousands of different holsters, holster styles, and holster manufacturers.
Unfortunately, most all makers will profess their model or models to be ideal for your needs or the best choice for you. This is one of the reasons that shooters end up with the proverbial "box of holsters." They try and try different models until they find one or two that best fit their needs. The rest of the unused gun holsters are usually thrown into a box or stored somewhere.

Regina Hackett, it hasn't really been brought to the forefront of the Seattle art scene in the way I think it could be. And the truth is it's a huge event -- this is their 7th year and over 500 artists applied for the juried show -- that's no small feat!
So here we are, we have this city overflowing with truly progressive artists and galleries. Seattle seems to foster great minds in thoughtful contemporary art, DIY movements, and collaborative projects. We also have this significant event celebrating something that is "titillating" but which still seems to be largely untapped by so-called mainstream artists! I fully believe there is a way to bring these two worlds together to talk about what is sexy and erotic in today's culture. How can artists reach beyond the obvious -- nudes, pinups, soft focus, hard core, BDSM?
My job is to talk to the artists I know or who I believe can really challenge the status quo, using their conceptual process to represent something a little less traditional in erotic art. I'm interested in the ideas which are more challenging, less easy, perhaps more quiet or philosophical; art which not only makes people smile but makes them think about what eroticism is, could be, or has become.
What was your biggest challenge in getting more "mainstream" artists involved in a more "fringe" festival?
I've had to really throw myself out on a limb! I'm aware of so many artists whom I still don't know or haven't met who don't know me either. I'm constantly pouring over local artists' websites and work and asking myself if I've overlooked anyone. What I'm seeking is a certain distinction from the rest of the work in the Festival. What I believe I've found is Seattle has it's own sort of tender and wistful/sweet movement in art right now, which I have completely fallen in love with. Curating with that focus in mind has certainly taught me a lot.
Aside from this I think the biggest challenge has been in talking to people who work more abstractly. I strongly identify with the struggles that rise up from applying the work to an erotic theme. I'm talking with artists a lot about landscape and the body and how self-referential our work always is in proportion to who we are. We are this tall next to that tree, this hill rises the same as my waist to my hip. It's all derivative of our surroundings. I may be projecting a bit of my thought process here, but I'm sure that some of the artists I've talked to are finding themselves having some kind of dialogue along these lines.
A lot of people still don't seem to know much about SEAF, so I've been excited to talk about it with them! I think some artists thought their work wouldn't fit in the show, and that may not have truly been the case. In the end, I suspect most artists have explored eroticism at one time or another, in one way or another, and I want to push them to rummage a little deeper in their proverbial closets to pull something out. It's not easy, but I'm certain there's something there-- and I'll get it out of 'em sooner or later! [grin]
What is your favourite part about working with SEAF?
*
For me, art is first and foremost about community and accessibility. This Festival performs both functions in the best of ways-- it brings art out of the studio and into people's lives and homes. It encourages people to look and see. There seems to be such discord between people on the street and art on the wall. Western culture has explicitly developed in such a way as to remove art from our daily experience into a more elitist realm, an unattainable pedestal. We've become separated and detached from the necessary function of art in our world. So I believe any entryway through which people are pulled into art is worth investigating. I've just been so thrilled to be a part of bringing art and people together, and I've learned so much. This experience has only emboldened my personal philosophy that whatever it takes to get people into art, I'll do it.
Thanks so much for telling us more about SEAF. You've made some really creative choices -- I just can't wait to see all the work.

power to prevent the exercise of religion can never support a claim under RFRA.
Excluding such cases from the coverage of RFRA, however, contributes nothing to solving the real problem courts confront in interpreting RFRA deciding when a burden is too attenuated or insubstantial to warrant review under the statute. Under the Ninth Circuit's standard, those core issues remain unresolved for all the cases in which coercion can be alleged. All that the Ninth Circuit has accomplished is the rejection of one category of RFRA claims and this categorical rejection seems arbitrary, given the history and purpose of RFRA.
The Key Legal Background: A Prior Supreme Court Case, and the Intent Behind RFRA
To begin, it is important to understand one of the key problems with the Supreme Court's decision in Employment Division v. Smith -- the case that held that the free exercise clause of the Constitution provides no protection against neutral laws of general applicability. This is the case that led directly to RFRA's enactment in Congress. One reason the Court's ruling in Smith was so unsatisfactory to Congress was that, under Smith, the government could interfere with and prohibit religious exercise for completely trivial and unimportant reasons. Freedom of religion did not need to be assigned any weight at all in the government's cost-benefit analysis. If there is one thing that RFRA was enacted to change, it was a legal system where government could cavalierly ignore the serious consequences of its action on religious practice. That, however, is exactly what the Ninth Circuit's interpretation of the "substantial burden" language in RFRA permits. It allows the state to physically control and prevent the exercise of religious for insignificant reasons or, for all intents and purposes, for no legitimate reason at all.
More importantly, many of the specific religious liberty issues Congress identified as reasons for enacting RFRA would fall outside of the statute's coverage under the Ninth Circuit's test. One of the concerns discussed by Congress when it explained the necessity of RFRA involved government failures to respect religious beliefs about the conducting of autopsies. Certain minority religions object to having autopsies performed on adherents of their faith because bodily intrusion violates their beliefs about the sanctity of the human form. Obviously, however, government officials need not threaten legal sanctions or the denial of benefits in order to perform an autopsy. Rather, they can simply seize the body of the deceased and have the autopsy performed in a government morgue to which offended co-religionists would be denied admittance. Under the Ninth Circuit's standard, the government's rejection of religious objections regarding the handling of a deceased family member's body would not be deemed to substantially burden religious exercise. That result seems plainly wrong.
It is also clear that the Congress was concerned about the religious liberty of prison inmates when it enacted RFRA. That concern continued after the application of RFRA to state and local governments was invalidated by the Supreme Court in City of Boerne v. Flores, and the concern led directly to the enactment of the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) in 2000. Yet it is intrinsic to the operation of prisons that many infringements of an inmate's religious liberty do not involve the threat of sanctions or the denial of benefits and thus, again, would not fall within the Ninth Circuit's test.
Prison authorities control all aspects of prison life. They can deny religious books being shipped into the prison and confiscate reading materials they consider unacceptable. Religious symbols such as crosses and crucifixes can be confiscated. Authorities can refuse to permit inmates to be released from their cells to attend religious services. Grooming standards that violate religious convictions can be imposed through physical force. Access to clergy can be limited and controlled. In one noteworthy case, officials even audiotaped an inmate's sacramental confession to a Catholic priest.
None of these actions by prison authorities clearly involve threats of legal sanction or the denial of benefits, and thus none of these actions would implicate RFRA under the Ninth Circuit's approach. It is hard to believe, however, that Congress did not intend for cases like these to be actionable under RFRA or RLUIPA (whose relevant terms are very similar to RFRA's).
Of course, the fact that the action of prison authorities (or medical authorities performing autopsies) is found to substantially burden religion does not suggest that the burden cannot be justified. Legitimate security concerns in the prison context (or investigatory concerns where someone has died) often justify a decision by authorities that burdens a person's or a family's ability to practice a faith. Congress was well aware of that reality when it enacted RFRA and RLUIPA. The purpose of these statutes was to ensure that the exercise of religion was not burdened unnecessarily, not that the exercise wasn't burdened at all.
Thus, the Ninth Circuit's definition of substantial burden is problematic precisely because it categorically prevents RFRA from being used to test the necessity of interfering with a person's exercise of his faith in a broad range of cases.
The Ninth Circuit's Test Clashes Sharply with the Supreme Court's Approach In Its Only Substantive RFRA Application Thus Far
Indeed, the one case in which the United States Supreme Court applied RFRA to federal government action, Gonzales v. O Centro Espirita Beneficente Uniao do Vegetal, would be nothing more than an exercise in futility under the Navajo Nation definition of substantial burden. In O Centro, a small religious sect attempt to import hoasca, a substance used to make a sacramental tea ingested by sect members. The plants from which the tea could be brewed came only from the "Amazon region." Customs inspectors intercepted and seized a shipment of hoascathat had been sent to sect members living in the United States because the plants contained a hallucinogen listed and banned under the federal Controlled Substances Act (CSA). Customs officials threatened to prosecute sect members for violating the CSA. The Supreme Court unanimously affirmed a preliminary injunction prohibiting the government from enforcing the ban, reasoning that the government had not demonstrated the sufficiently compelling state interest required by RFRA to justify a substantial burden on religious practice.
Under the Ninth Circuit's analysis, government officials could not prosecute sect members for importing or using hoasca for religious purposes because RFRA would apply to block the threat of legal sanctions against religious practitioners. But the government does not have to prosecute anyone to enforce the Act and prevent this religious practice. It could instead simply authorize customs officials to continue to do exactly what they had done in the O Centro case to intercept and seize any shipments of hoasca into the United States. And according to the Ninth Circuit, those actions could not be challenged under RFRA because they do not involve the threat of legal sanction of the denial of benefits.
In other words, the fact that the government knowingly makes it impossible for sect members to practice their faith has no legal consequence under the Ninth Circuit approach. Under that approach, the Supreme Court's decision in O Centro could be easily and effectively circumvented.
The Ninth Circuit's Test Is In Serious Error, and the Court Exceeded Its Proper Role
Finally, the Ninth Circuit's truncated interpretation of what constitutes a substantial burden is not only inconsistent with Congress' purposes in enacting RFRA and Supreme Court caselaw; it also ignores a critical difference between the role of the federal courts in applying RFRA and their role in interpreting the free exercise clause of the First Amendment.
In deciding what conduct by the government invokes free exercise review, the courts have every reason to be cautious in identifying and invalidating infringements of fundamental rights. The consequences of constitutional errors are hard to monitor and the decisions themselves are difficult to correct. As UCLA law professor Eugene Volokh has argued, however, religious liberty statutes are more easily modified and amended. Congress can recognize and respond to new information and correct statutory errors much more effectively than constitutional courts can alter fundamental rights doctrine. Thus, courts do not have to be as wary in interpreting religious liberty statutes as they are in interpreting the First Amendment, and the Ninth Circuit need not have been shy about implementing RFRA in a robust way.
More importantly, it is not the courts' job to repeal or amend statutes in the process of interpreting them, even when the statutory terms are broad or hard to effectuate. We believe the Ninth Circuit's definition of substantial burden is unreasonably restrictive, but even if we are wrong about this as a public policy matter, one point should be clear: From a separation of powers perspective, federal courts should not be substituting their own narrow understanding of what constitutes a substantial burden for the more expansive meaning that Congress intended.
If Congress wants to deny Native American religions, and other faiths, the opportunity to challenge government decisions that physically prevent the practice of their religion under RFRA, it knows how to accomplish that result through the legislative process. There is no good reason for the federal courts to take on that responsibility as a matter of judicial interpretation.

(Dear President Obama, India can kill neighbor-Kashmiris but it says none should interfere!)
I
Democratically owned by big businesses, secular India vehemently protested against the US decision to send an emissary, Ambassador Holbrooke, to South Asia to deal with Kashmir freedom issue. New Delhi says Kashmir is an "internal issue" and other guys should not meddle with Indian political affairs. India considers state terrorism a part of Indian polity. Interestingly, India also considers and, for fun, calls itself a holy democracy that too a secular democracy and therefore the entire world should respect it and take its advice. India thus does not expect any other country or leader to suggest any thing to India because India knows every thing and does every thing properly for the Indians and the world at large.
India knows cash does miracles in IP. India looks forward to making the US president Obama a pro-India lobbyist world wide. India got the US message from the president-elect Obama when he declined to speak to Indian leaders when he assumed office or even before that, while he spoke to Pakistani president Zardari. As a result, India vigorously -- and successfully -- lobbied the Obama transition team to make sure that neither India nor Kashmir was included in Holbrooke's official brief. "Innocent" India rose up to shamelessly defend the property stolen from Kashmiris in 1947 and now under heavy militarization. The Indians freaked out at talk of Bill Clinton being an envoy to Kashmir The evidence that India was able to successfully lobby the Obama transition in the weeks before it took office to ensure Holbrooke's mission left them and Kashmir out is testament to both the sensitivity of the issue to India as well as the prowess and sophistication of its Washington political and lobbying operation. The reason they were so worried is they don't want their activities in Kashmir to be equated with what Israel is doing in Palestine. Ambassador Holbrooke is nicknamed "the Bulldozer" for arm-twisting warring leaders to the negotiating table as he hammered out the 1995 Dayton peace accords that ended the war in Bosnia.
On the one hand, India aims at the economic super power to replace USA and Japan, on the other it continues contribute to the regional tensions by keeping Jammu Kashmir captive and spend more resources on terror military. India is too sentimental about it illegal invasion, subsequent annexation of Jammu Kashmir and hurried enjoinment with Indian Union soon after Indian independence, but it expects its illegal occupation is considered "sympathetically" by Obama.
The news about Obama getting tough on 'Wall Street idiots' to straighten the recession processes did send out some message to the world, but soon world understood his rhetoric as being part of larger US global visions. Obama has got the economic package to outwit recession passed by the Congress. But one expects the same resoluteness and firmness of Obama in dealing with all of external affairs, in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan now under US occupation; in Palestine now under fascist Israeli terror occupation; Kashmir now under Indian terror custody.
II
America does every thing to advance its own interests and many countries fall prey to it knowingly or other wise assisting the US leaders to secure its economic and security interests. India captured Jammu Kashmir after the WWII and the USA could have effectively stopped the Indian arrogance the and there; USA could have prevented India from killing defenseless Kashmiris on their own Kashmir lands now under Indian brute occupation. Indian genocides offered enough opportunities for the Kashmir freedom groups to make a united forum to which India could address directly in stead of searching for the most important pro-India ones. But the leaders, particularly the pro-India elements, are opportunists and one does not know if the freedom leaders too have any hidden ties with JK ruling regime and Indian government in New Delhi. Otherwise, in spite of the holocaust situation prevailing in Jammu Kashmir where thousands of Muslims have been butchered by terrorist India, the freedom groups refuse to merge themselves into a Kashmir National forum which fascist India takes seriously enough to start the negotiations.
Knowing the divisions in JK in all respects and Indian hollow sentimentalism over an alien Jammu Kashmir, USA has thus far played its own dirty tricks and played second fiddle to Indian neo-capitalists whose money it needs very badly. Kashmiris should not have illusions about US decency and sincerity in any thing and that it would just ask India to free Kashmir to enable Washington and its western allies to do business with New Delhi. Rogues are friends and always That is why despite the fact that ruthless human rights violations continue in Kashmir and in other Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Palestine and Iraq, America is not playing the part which it otherwise should USA knows how to help Israel by using the Arabs, but does not know how to help Kashmiris by applying similar logic with India. Thieves pretend to be greats, however.
III
India seeks special relationships with USA, Israel and other "democracies" to safeguard its global and terror interests. Since India pumps in money to USA markets, India wants the Americans behave properly and not interfere in its "internal" affairs and seek resolution of Kashmir issue. Bush played very skillfully and got enough cash from India by using a pro-capitalism Manmohan Singh, but Indians want Obama also to pursue the Bushdom policy with regard to India, practically ignoring the Kashmir issue while insisting on resolution on peaceful means which means nothing.
India was looking forward to cash-in the Indo-US nuclearism, "gifted" by Bush for support in genocides in Afghanistan, but Obama's rise did create jerks in New Delhi corridor of power politics. Indo-US nuclearism is the culmination of a long time hidden ties between them for decades. Israel promoted that link. As per Indian thesis, America will not intervene directly because India will not let it. However, there is no doubt that Holbrooke will encourage India to take the matter up bilaterally. India should do this before it is pressured into doing it.. However Mrs., Clinton has reassured India of US policy of understand the "weaknesses" of its allies, both old and new. India thinks USA would be bullied some how to k put the Kashmir issue in the back burner.
Given Indias fierce, decades-long resistance to any internationalization of the Kashmir dispute, to have done so would have been a non-starter for India, and guaranteed failure before the envoy mission had begun. But to many experts in Washington on South Asia, the decision to not include India or Kashmir in the official Terms of Reference of Holbrooke's mandate was not just appropriate, but absolutely necessary.
But many others, including Obama himself, who proposed a special envoy to deal with Kashmir during the campaign - is firm in belief that the South Asia region's security challenges cannot be solved without including India. Obama told Time that working with Pakistan and India to try to resolve their Kashmir conflict would be a critical task for his administration's efforts to try to counter growing instability in Afghanistan and Pakistan. "Kashmir in particular is an interesting situation where that is obviously a potential tar pit diplomatically. Indians want to break out of being in a hyphenated relationship with America. They don't want to be grouped with the 'problem children' in the region, on Kashmir, on nuclear issues. They have a fairly effective lobbying machine. They have taken a lot of notes on the Israel model, and they have gotten better. But you don't want to overstate it. Some of the lobbying effort is obvious, done through companies, but a lot of it is direct government to government contact, people talking to each other. The Indian government and those around the Indian government made clear through a variety of channels because of the Clinton rumors and they came out to quickly shoot that down. Once Holbrooke's name was floated, the Indian lobbying campaign became even more intense.
One of leading Indian lobbyists, BGR has been a registered lobbyist for the Indian government since 2005 Sources said Indias hired lobbyists were deployed to shape the contours of the U.S. diplomatic mission. According to lobbying records filed with the Department of Justice, since 2005, the government of India has paid BGR about $2.5 million. Former U.S. ambassador to India Robert Blackwill, who previously served as a lobbyist for India, left BGR in 2008 for the Rand Corporation. In addition, the Indian embassy in Washington has paid lobbying firm Patton Boggs $291,665 under a six-month contract that took effect Aug. 18, according to lobbying records. BGR continues to actively lobby on behalf of the Indian government - their lobbyists sought to influence a recent Senate resolution on the Mumbai attacks. Indian leaders are worried about Holbrookes tough-as-nails reputation and want to keep him off from in Kashmir issue. His discussion on Kashmir can prove embarrassment for the Indian leaders, who had been claiming victory after recent statement from Washington that Kashmir does not figure in Holbrookes agenda.
In what could be seen as an embarrassment for the Indian government, Kashmir will top the agenda of Obama's special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke during his visit to the sub-continent. Richard Holbrooke is expected to undertake a visit to India on February 15 and 16. He would now all the issues related to Pakistan and terror, Holbrooke with also discuss Kashmir issue with the Indian leaders.
Recently, UN secretary-general said India and Pakistan should resume peace process to resolve all outstanding issues. Moon termed Kashmir as an important issue between Islamabad and New Delhi . The UN Chief said cordial relationship between India and Pakistan would not only benefit the two countries but is also desirable for peace and security in the region leading to existence of Jammu Kashmir as an independent nation. After USs nominated envoy to Kashmir Susan Rice termed Kashmir as "hotspot", the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon has named Kashmir as an important issue and urged India and Pakistan to resume the dialogue process to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir.
A Note
But the problem with India is it does not take UN and UNSC seriously. It believes it can resolve all issues by throwing cash which both the government and private traders have plenty, including stolen. Recently India even bribed the UN chief Ban ki moon with an award for economic development. How much cash India has transferred to USA is remains a "deeply guarded" secret.
Bribery is prohibited in India and those small fellows found guilty of bribery cases are punished as criminals, while big animals do escape even legal proceedings. But Indian government directly and through various NGOs bribe the foreign governments, their officials, lawmakers and other agencies to get things done for India at any cost. The issues involved may be petty ones and of immense importance, but the bribery and other corrupt practices don't justify that. Is that unethical and immoral and therefore, illegal?
President Obama has recently restricted the foreign lobbyists around White House in Wessington. Obama who won the presidency and ultimately appointed her to carry out his foreign policy as the Obama administration's top diplomat and Clinton has to use Obama policy stated by him during the campaign. But India just doe snot care for Obama's instructions against lobbyists because it argues, finally it is the power brokers who rule any country, including USA.
It is not news that India bribes foreign agents, it is a usual activity on international arena, while each country talks about law and rules domestically and has a constitution to punish those whom the rulers dont like or hate. In the name democracy every type of fraud and forgery go.
Though the newly elected president of America Barack Hussein Obama has stated that America is not the enemy of Muslims and wants to solve the ongoing world disputes, he is not taking any serious step for the resolution of Kashmir. But the Neocons who guided President Bush (and his daddy US president) in all that did for 8 years are against Muslims and Islam. They think Islam is a serious threat to their global interests.
An India says, rather parrot-shouts, Jammu Kashmir is an integral part of India because it is still inside the Indian Union. When the Indian government learned Holbrooke was going to visit both Pakistan and India, they swung into action and lobbied to have India excluded from his purview and approached Mrs Clinton. When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton -- flanked by President Obama -- introduced Richard Holbrooke as the formidable new U.S. envoy to South Asia at a State Department ceremony, India was noticeably absent from his title. But the omission of India from his title, and from Clintons official remarks introducing the new diplomatic push in the region was no accident -- not to mention a sharp departure from Obama's own previously stated approach of engaging India, as well as Pakistan and Afghanistan, in a regional dialogue..
The Obama administration, like the previous ones, knows Kashmir is the main reason for the instability in Asia and the peace in this subcontinent would not be attained till the Kashmir issue is resolved. But the pro-India outfits ruining the freedom chances and freedom leaders having no thought out program as a united forum the military hegemon in South Asia India is conveniently misleading the world bodies by its "false propaganda".
Barrack Obama seems to comprehend the Indian weakness for Kashmir and global prestige and has tried to appease Indians by keeping silent about Kashmir resolution off and on now. Obama during his presidential campaign had said the Kashmir issue was central to any stability in the region. Obamas comments had rekindled hopes in Kashmir and Pakistan that the Obama administration might play a greater role in seeking a negotiated settlement to the Kashmir dispute than previous US administration.

At 15, Lawrence King was smallâ"5 feet 1 inchâ"but very hard to miss. In January, he started to show up for class at Oxnard, Calif.'s E. O. Green Junior High School decked out in women's accessories. On some days, he would slick up his curly hair in a Prince-like bouffant. Sometimes he'd paint his fingernails hot pink and dab glitter or white foundation on his cheeks. "He wore makeup better than I did," says Marissa Moreno, 13, one of his classmates. He bought a pair of stilettos at Target, and he couldn't have been prouder if he had on a varsity football jersey. He thought nothing of chasing the boys around the school in them, teetering as he ran. But on the morning of Feb. 12, Larry left his glitter and his heels at home. He came to school dressed like any other boy: tennis shoes, baggy pants, a loose sweater over a collared shirt. He seemed unhappy about something. He hadn't slept much the night before, and he told one school employee that he threw up his breakfast that morning, which he sometimes did because he obsessed over his weight. But this was different. One student noticed that as Larry walked across the quad, he kept looking back nervously over his shoulder before he slipped into his first-period English class. The teacher, Dawn Boldrin, told the students to collect their belongings, and then marched them to a nearby computer lab, so they could type out their papers on World War II. Larry found a seat in the middle of the room. Behind him, Brandon McInerney pulled up a chair. Brandon, 14, wasn't working on his paper, because he told Mrs. Boldrin he'd finished it. Instead, he opened a history book and started to read. Or at least he pretended to. "He kept looking over at Larry," says a student who was in the class that morning. "He'd look at the book and look at Larry, and look at the book and look at Larry." At 8:30 a.m., a half hour into class, Brandon quietly stood up. Then, without anyone's noticing, he removed a handgun that he had somehow sneaked to school, aimed it at Larry's head, and fired a single shot. Boldrin, who was across the room looking at another student's work, spun around. "Brandon, what the hell are you doing!" she screamed. Brandon fired at Larry a second time, tossed the gun on the ground and calmly walked through the classroom door. Police arrested him within seven minutes, a few blocks from school. Larry was rushed to the hospital, where he died two days later of brain injuries. The Larry King shooting became the most prominent gay-bias crime since the murder of Matthew Shepard 10 years ago. But despite all the attention and outrage, the reason Larry died isn't as clear-cut as many people think. California's Supreme Court has just legalized gay marriage. There are gay characters on popular TV shows such as "Gossip Girl" and "Ugly Betty," and no one seems to notice. Kids like Larry are so comfortable with the concept of being openly gay that they are coming out younger and younger. One study found that the average age when kids self-identify as gay has tumbled to 13.4; their parents usually find out a year later. What you might call "the shrinking closet" is arguably a major factor in Larry's death. Even as homosexuality has become more accepted, the prospect of being openly gay in middle school raises a troubling set of issues. Kids may want to express who they are, but they are playing grown-up without fully knowing what that means. At the same time, teachers and parents are often uncomfortable dealing with sexual issues in children so young. Schools are caught in between. How do you protect legitimate, personal expression while preventing inappropriate, sometimes harmful, behavior? Larry King was, admittedly, a problematical test case: he was a troubled child who flaunted his sexuality and wielded it like a weaponâ"it was often his first line of defense. But his story sheds light on the difficulty of defining the limits of tolerance. As E. O. Green found, finding that balance presents an enormous challenge. Larry's life was hard from the beginning. His biological mother was a drug user; his father wasn't in the picture. When Greg and Dawn King took him in at age 2, the family was told he wasn't being fed regularly. Early on, a speech impediment made Larry difficult to understand, and he repeated first grade because he had trouble reading. He was a gentle child who loved nature and crocheting, but he also acted out from an early age. "We couldn't take him to the grocery store without him shoplifting," Greg says. "We couldn't get him to clean up his room. We sent him upstairsâ"he'd get a screwdriver and poke holes in the walls." He was prescribed ADHD medication, and Greg says Larry was diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder, a rare condition in which children never fully bond with their caregivers or parents.
