released a statement saying, “This is just another blatant attempt by Linda Hogan to try to defame Hulk Hogan’s character. We commend the judge on seeing through this ridiculous stunt and denying these baseless claims.”
When Hogan was asked if the divorce was an attempt to protect assets after their son, Nick Hogans car accident, he said absolutely not and that he wished he was back with his wife. He then added, “If this is a ploy, her being intimate with a 19-year-old kid is pretty good acting. For me to be able to handle my 50-year-old wife sleeping in a bed with a 19-year-old boyfriend and using my gym, and driving my cars, and living in my house. I guess we’ve got a pretty good act going on ’cause that’s a lot to take on.

Martine McCutcheon is a British singer and actress who found fame in the British soap Eastenders as Tiffany Mitchell. She left the soap at the end of 1998 to embark on a pop career. Her debut single Perfect Moment topped the charts in five countries. As a solo artist, Martine released three albums, five singles (including one double A-Side) and recorded a track for the ABBAMania compilation. After minimal succes of her third album, Martine decided to do more acting, she appeared on stage as Elize Dolittle and played a part opposite Hugh Grant in the 2003 smash movie Love Actually. Martine also appeared in: Jump! alongside Patrick Swayze, was a judge on ITV's Soapstar Superstar and most recently starred in Echo Beach (a TV series) with Jason Donovan. It is unknown whether or not Martine will return to music, but if she does, I for one will support her, in my opinion she is a truly under-rated artist.

Although they barely knew each other in the past, new mother Christina Aguilera says shes been getting some great parenting tips from Nicole Richie.
I didn’t know much about Nicole, but because our little ones are born one day apart and through mutual friends I’ve had the opportunity of getting to know her and I was blown away with how great of a mom she is, the singer told Pop Tarts at her Post-AMAs party on Sunday night at the brand new Target Terrace at L.A Live.
Not only do the twosome dish on babies Max and Harlow, but Christina even looks to the fellow celeb for childcare suggestions.
I actually ask her for advice because she has a lot of great things that she does for her little one, she reveals. She’s even a little more stricter with battery operated toys and what not, she’s a great woman.

US Weekly, Christina will do a medley of some of her top hits, including “Genie in a Bottle,” “Fighter”, “Beautiful,” “Keeps Getting Better” and “Dirrty.” Well, thats pretty awesome if you ask me, since that covers my favorite songs that shes done! The entire medley apparently runs about seven minutes. I cant wait!
Meanwhile, Dick Clark Productions is extremely excited to have Christina performing for them this year. The companys president stated, “She raises the bar with each live performance and you can expect something special at the 2008 ‘American Music Awards.’”
Raise the bar, indeed! I cant wait to see what she does.
Dont forget that the American Music Awards air this Sunday, November 23rd - check your local listings for channels and times.

At rehearsals this week for the 36th Annual American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre, one of the key executives for the show gushed that Sunday nights broadcast will have 19 performances, a record number: We called everyone on our dream list and they all said so we just had to make room! That effusive appraisal was met with a smile and a shrug by graybeard Al Schwartz, a consulting producer who has worked on the show since the Nixon administration.
Well, it is a great year, but the stars are coming because they need it more than ever. Albums dont sell like they used to. And even with the stars we have a tough fight ahead of us: Theres the premiere of and theres football on.
These are strange days for traditional music awards shows. The recording industry is still reeling, the concert-touring business is in retreat and television audiences have made it quite clear that their fascination lies with shows that create new celebrities, not the ones that honor existing stars.
In 2006, American Idol hammered the first hour of the Grammy Awards in head-to-head ratings competition. The following year the producers of the grand old awards show responded by reluctantly adding an imitation competition component to the broadcast.
also has sapped the AMAs of one of their defining traits, their proudly populist heritage; when the AMAs started in 1974, it was the show where music-buying fans picked the winners, not some rarefied academy. But if you cant beat them, book them: The AMAs are dotted with past contestants, with David Cook, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, Chris Daughtry and David Archuleta all attending as nominees, presenters or both.
s hard to describe how much things have changed, said Schwartz, who took over as producer of the AMAs in 1974 but retired and became a consulting producer in recent years. When I started it was Helen Reddy and Lou Rawls and now that seems like a very long time ago when you listen to the music today. But the role of the show is just as different too.
This year the stars are rushing to the AMAs and making the most of their stage time, especially with the all-important holiday sales season ramping up. Not only is there a record number of performers, but the broadcast on ABC also will have a bit of a throwback approach by including medleys, that old variety show stand-by. Christina Aguilera, for instance, will open the show with a of her new greatest hits album, Keeps Gettin Better: A Decade of Hits, which is being sold exclusively through Target stores and the retail giants website and features 10 hits and two new songs.

Anne Hathaway is Hollywood's new 'it-girl'
(NSI News Source Info) November 14, 2008: 'Rachel Getting Married' gave the 26-year-old actress a huge boost.
" 'IT' is that quality possessed by some which draws all otherswith its magnetic force. With 'IT' you win all men if you are a woman -- all women if you are a man. 'IT' can be a quality of the mind as well as a physical attraction."That's how English romance novelist Elinor Glyn defined the term "it-girl," a phrase that entered the public imagination with the 1927 film "It," based on one of her novels and starring the original it-girl, Clara Bow.
Hollywood is perpetually on the hunt for this elusive quality, this blend of sexuality and innocence, of materialistic chutzpah and good values, of swagger and sincerity, that tends to sell tickets. As the Cameron Diazes, Drew Barrymores and Gwyneth Paltrows age out of the ingénue role, a new crop of young actresses has emerged -- a group that includes Amy Adams, Michelle Williams, Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley, contenders to the crown that for years belonged to Julia Roberts, perhaps the last woman movie star who everyone agrees actually guaranteed attendance in the theaters. At the moment much of Hollywood is chattering about pretty Anne Hathaway, another dark-eyed, dark-haired beauty, who was plucked out of relative obscurity by Roberts' own star-maker, "Pretty Woman" director Garry Marshall. Disney was explicitly looking for the next Audrey Hepburn when Marshall cast this New Jersey-raised actress, with one short-lived TV series to her credit, as the lead in the 2001 hit franchise, "The Princess Diaries." Seven years later, the 26-year-old Hathaway has finally been transformed into the it-girl of the moment, with a string of commercial hits to her name, and heat fueled by her unexpected but thoroughly wrenching performance as an addict on furlough from rehab for her sister's wedding in "Rachel Getting Married." Already, Hathaway is getting Oscar buzz. And she's getting the sympathy vote. Ironically enough, there's often nothing that endears a star to her audience more than love's travails, a bad boyfriend or two.Hathaway's Italian boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri, has recently been sentenced to prison for 54 months for fraud. The double whammy of on-screen and off-screen despair has curiously combined to give Hathaway heft and maturity, making her more than just another pretty face.Late-night skewerHathaway has also deftly managed the media circus. Although it-girls inevitably magnetize attention, it's not every starlet who's forced to explain herself to such august pop culture pashas as David Letterman, who recently grilled Hathaway about her personal life.Dressed demurely in black, Hathaway tried joking, "As far as relationships crashing and burning, I did pretty great. Scorch that earth." But being Letterman, he wouldn't desist, asking her questions such as, "Was there ever stuff missing out of your purse?" She mostly laughed, except for when she hid her face in her hands, literally trying to shield herself from his comic barrage. In addition to Letterman, Hathaway recently did "Saturday Night Live," and pluckily served up quotes about her romantic train wreck for cover stories in Entertainment Weekly, W and, one presumes, the upcoming issue of Vogue, which should hit newsstands about the time that academy members start thinking about their Oscar ballots.Vanity Fair offered up a pretty good vivisection of her jet-set love affair with Follieri, and it "made her more interesting," notes one top talent agent. "There is something about the poor girl, the ones that can never find the right love interest. It's part of the type, if you look back through history."Indeed, although film historian Janine Basinger recoils at the thought that audiences enjoy seeing their cinematic icons suffer, she does note that a little glimpse of real vulnerability can burnish a star's allure. "There is some thinking that it makes all the women identify with her. Raise your hand if you've ever had a bad boyfriend. One of the appeals for a female star is a sense of vulnerability or being human, of not being greater than the rest of us, of not being detached from us because they're more beautiful or have better clothes. Historically, we like women stars like June Allyson or, who seem human."Our stars don't have to be perfect. They just have to be imperfect in a way we can tolerate, and that's unpredictable and related to how we see them on-screen."Of course, Hollywood also appreciates Hathaway's growing box-office clout. Insiders peg her price per movie between $5 million and $10 million, and Hathaway's seeming imperfections dovetail nicely with what has become her commercial niche, the girl-power comedy. Most major women stars -- including Roberts, Goldie Hawn, Meryl Streep (or Miley Cyrus or any of the tween stars) -- have risen to glory with a devoted female fan base. For young women, the greater fantasy is not finding a man but finding yourself, becoming the person you were destined to be. (That's the real theme of "Titanic," perhaps the biggest chick flick of all time.)Committed to roleFox 2000 chief Elizabeth Gabler recalls Hathaway pitching herself for "The Devil Wears Prada," which, at that very early stage in the game, didn't have Streep attached to play the viperous fashion magazine editor."She was absolutely committed to getting the role. She gave us script notes on the third act," says Gabler. "Annie was feeling that her character would walk away [from her assistant's life]. She is in Paris, and has a changed perspective on life." The studio wound up using a version of this idea in the film, and ultimately cast Hathaway in the part.More comedies are coming down the pike starring Hathaway, including "Bride Wars," a female version of the burgeoning bromance genre, about best friends (Hathaway and Kate Hudson) who inadvertently turn into battling bridezillas; "The Fiancé," about a woman who wants to dump her fiancé much to her parents' chagrin; and a sports-comedy in the vein of "Broadcast News" featuring Hathaway as an aspiring and definitively spunky sportscaster. As one studio executive noted, Hathaway is practically the only twentysomething woman whom a studio would comfortably stake a romantic comedy on -- and she's still about half the price of a more established phenomenon like Reese Witherspoon. What's most notable about Hathaway is that she isn't Lindsay Lohan, or any of the other teen stars who've crashed and burned on their way to becoming grown-ups. And she has surprised people, even insiders, with the depth of her talent."We've all seen her do a number of things," says Sony Classics President Michael Barker. His studio released "Rachel Getting Married." "She has a very mainstream-actress, star personality. I know my daughters have always adored her, then here comes a movie like ["Rachel"] and it shows an incredible dramatic range that a lot of people felt she didn't have. Another part has to do with her as a person. When you see her in interviews, she has a sincerity and intelligence that is infectious."Some doubtersStill, for some not already in the Anne Hathaway business, the jury is still out on whether Hathaway will ascend from it-girl to the next rung of stardom, the Mt. Olympus of Teflon mega-celebrity, where only megaliths such as Tom Cruise, Will Smith and Roberts reside.Perversely, Hollywood often judges star power on the ability to sell junk, to have such strong charisma that moviegoers will pay to see your film no matter what it is. Cruise made a hit out of "Cocktail," while Roberts, in her post-"Pretty Woman" glow, made a $100-million hit out of "Sleeping With the Enemy."At the time, Roberts' it factor was so potent that audiences clamored to bask in her mega-watt grin. But Hathaway has more of a climb ahead of her before reaching those heights. Three weeks ago, Sony released its new Hathaway pic, the supernatural thriller, "Passengers"; so far, it's earned a meager $292,000 at the domestic box office. As one agent sniffs, "If you're the it-girl, if you're Julia Roberts, anything you do would be news.

Ms. Dylan got her undergraduate degree in s studies at Sacramento State University and plans to use the proceeds of her Bunny Ranch virginity sale to get a masters degree.
I understand some people will condemn me but I think this is empowering. Im using what I have to better myself.
Natalie says shes already taken a polygraph test to prove her virginal status and is also willing to undergo a medical exam, although hymens can be surgically reconstructed.
I dont think auctioning my virginity will solve all my problems, but it will create some financial stability, the 22-year-old brunette told reporters. m ready for the controversy Im ready to do this.Through this process Im not just looking for the highest bidder, Dylan says about her Bunny Ranch virginity auction, adding, m looking for someone who is a genuine, overall nice person.
Preferably one with a lot of chump change handy
The Moonlite Bunny Ranch is a massive brothel, staffed by as many as 500 prostitutes, that calls itself the de-virginising capital of America.

Everyone wants to know what the celebrities who endorsed Barack Obama are thinking and feeling on this day of historical achievement. Thankfully for us, BCC has compiled a massive list of quotes from stars of all calibers.
Read the reactions below
George Clooney:
I congratulate President-elect Obama on his historic victory and now its time to begin unifying the country so we can take on the extraordinary challenges that this generation faces.
Tracy Chapman:
This is a hugely significant day. I spoke to a friend who recalled that her grandfather was able to vote with great difficulty in his lifetime - he died only recently.
s been discrimination and all kinds of obstacles placed in the way of African-Americans and to now see an African-American president is momentous.
My friend was crying saying we are experiencing this moment in our lifetime.
Spike Lee:
s a great day, its a beautiful morning, a new dawn, a new beginning - not just in America but the world over.
I think race has always been interwoven in the fabric of America but, in this referendum of the American people, theres been a seismic movement as far as American views on race in this country.
I think thats a lot to do with young white Americans - they dont have the same views as their parents.
Oprah Winfrey:
It feels like hope won. It feels like its not just victory for Barack Obama. It feels like America did the right thing.
It feels like theres a shift in consciousness. It feels like something really big and bold has happened here, like nothing ever in our lifetimes did we expect this to happen.
It feels like anything is now possible.
P Diddy:
I felt like my vote was the vote that put him into office. It was down to one vote, and that was going to be my vote.
And that may not be true but thats how much power it felt like I had. This will go down in history, in black history, for all of the sacrifices that the great Joseph Lowery and Martin Luther King made, this actually pays off for their sacrifice. The great Rosa Parks.
So many people sacrificed for us to have a voice. It was one thing to have a voice but, to eventually know the best way to use it and then it grows into this, its just incredible.
m speechless. I dont even know what to say.
Eddie Izzard:
s fantastic, as Im someone who would have voted for Obama but I canI find it very exciting to be here [in the US] because Im someone who knows how it works in the UK and, here, its slightly different but essentially the same and its just been great to watch it go down.
Pete Wentz:
I would not be standing here actually in reality, at all, because my parents met working for [vice president elect] Biden.
They met on a campaign so they have this particular affection for Joe - he came to their wedding. If it werent for Joe Biden, I would not exist as a human being.
Ricky Gervais:
I think its the most exciting election for Americans, from what Ive heard, cos its a clean break and just everything about Obamas so charismatic.
David Brent would vote for Barack Obama. Definitely. Hed love to be on the side of the fact this could change the American landscape.
Dave Fulton
After living in the UK for eight years and having to put up with all the stick from my comedian friends about America and all the jokes, its so nice to finally go: See? Our country worksNow and then we can get it right, so Im totally digging it - its fantastic.

Beyond marking Christina Aguileras first decade in the business, the Nov. 11 Target exclusive Keeps Getting Better: A Decade of Hits serves as a sneak preview for the artists next RCA studio album.
Aguilera tells Billboard the as-yet-untitled set will arrive in summer 2009 and will be mostly produced by Linda Perry.
With my last album, I had music that was very 20s, 30s and 40s, and was very detailed and part of a very specific genre and sound, she says. But with this new album, I wanted to go in a completely opposite direction-a very futuristic, robotic sound and computer-sounding vocals. Im experimenting with my voice in ways Ive never done before, almost like a technical, computer-generated sound, which is different for me because Im the type of vocalist that just belts. Im always inspired by new things because I get bored. The album is very pop and very upbeat, and its inspired by [Andy] Warhol and the late-60s scene, says RCA senior VP of marketing Scott Seviour, who adds that Aguilera has been in the studio as often as she can, considering she became a mother in January. Once you hear the new material youll have a very clear idea what the direction of it is.

I HAD been super busy trying to clear all my assignments these days. HAD. Today I am happy. Finally, Ive completed the two assignments. One was this 11-page long (including cover page and references) politics essay that I have to write on how globalization has affected the state and whether the state is in decline. Ive also finished my bio-chemistry assignment which suprisingly was quite easy.
And the greatest thing, Ive done my politics project, its FINALLY complete. OVER. I just did the presentation this afternoon. Initially I was a little nervous, I was like OMG. But when I got up to the front for that presentation I just fired away and it was GOOD. I am satisfied with myself and the rest of the group members. Have to thank them for being such lovely people to work with. Renukhas presentation was fiery and sarcastic at the right places. I love it!
I feel like all these burdens have been lifted off my shoulder. And it feels SOOOO GOOD. But I still have one marketing project on Shanghai Tang (which is a pleasure since I like the topic, LOL). But I think I can handle this one pretty well. So can the rest of the group members. I dont know I just feel so relieved today.
So today, I went for Kendo training too. Initially I felt SO tired after math lecture in which I slept quite a bit. And I RARELY sleep in lecture ok. This is one of the unglam moments in life. I decided to go since Andy is going too. If not, I think I might have skipped it.
After math lecture which ended at 6, I RUSHED to YIH for a quick bite and then went to the Multi Purpose Hall since the training started at 6.30. But today I have to say I learn a LOT. Glad I didnt skip this training. I felt I improved a lot today. Todays training was kind of effective I think. Usually I felt like I did so many mindless times of hayasuburi, fomikumi, etc etc, but I always felt I didnt hit at all the right spots. I feel my footwork is improving leaps and bounds, so is my cut today. And finally today I got the blister. DAMN! LOL. Love it!
And also I think I am gonna go for the competition, Im gonna train hard and make sure everything is perfect. Im gonna sign up and give it my best. Kendo requires a lot of perfection and concentration. Like all the things are simple in theory, but it takes a lot of effort to make everything perfect in practice, like the footwork, the cut, the posture, the movement, the shout. Everything has to come together like an art. Really. And Its also not about developing just the outside, there is a lot of emphasis on the inside, like your mind. We even have a session of meditation before the training to help us focus better.
But Ive been lagging behind for a lot of the reading materials, especially my bio-chemistry module. I have like 8 chapters to read, and one chapter is pretty long. But since assignments are over and projects are almost over, I feel like i finally have the time to catch up on bio-chemistry and also marketing. Loads of reading to clear. But despite all this, I feel really really good today.
Just some reflection for today. I just found it ironic these days that how two people can be so close yet so far away. And how we actually love certain people more when they are miles away from us. And then also, how good neighbors turn just a little creepy. How people turn out to be really kind and helpful. And how a good friend suddenly floats away and seems just a little absorbed in whatever she is doing. How we find some people interesting, yet we never talk to them. Lifes little ironies.
And last nite, when I was doing my online bio-chemistry tutorial with Ian. Suddenly it just hit me that I missed my grandma who just passed away 9 months ago. Its funny, I was talking and talking to Ian and suddenly I just felt this pang coming from absolutely nowhere. I just love her.
Btw, I just found this artist called Lenka from Australia. Its kind of cutesy, quirky and playful. Not sugary. She sounds a little like Feist during the days of Let It Die. Here! Listen! I LOVE her.

Guy Ritchie has already moved on. Page Six reports that he's seeing a British actress named Kelly Reilly. I put a picture of her in the thumbnails in case you don't know who she is.
At first I couldn't believe that both Guy and Madonna (supposedly with Alex Rodriguez) moved on so fast. But, that just means the rumors that their marriage has been over for a long time now were right.
In other news, check out this UsWeekly cover. They're reporting that the fights between Madonna and Guy were HORRIBLE.
